Laura Kuhlman has graciously agreed to teach the one-day workshop in late February.* Laura is a well-known and popular workshop leader. Some of you may remember her engaging session for Sarasota chapter members when the ARS Board visited Sarasota some years ago.

Laura Kuhlman has graciously agreed to teach the one-day workshop in late February.* Laura is a well-known and popular workshop leader. Some of you may remember her engaging session for Sarasota chapter members when the ARS Board visited Sarasota some years ago.
Laura Kuhlman recently moved from Chicago to Portland, OR . Schooled in the art of flute performance, Laura has traveled the United States and parts of Europe performing and teaching. Laura has been a longtime advocate for early music and spent eight years on the national board of the American Recorder Society, with three years being president. Currently Laura serves on the Board of the Portland Recorder Society, where she is Music Director and Director of the Recorder Orchestra of Oregon. She performs regularly with Musica Universalis, her medieval band, who has gained a large following with their innovative programing from lively concerts to magical theatre productions.
* We have moved the workshop from early February, where it has been for years, to February 27, 2027. We hope the later February date will help avoid conflicts that some regular workshop participants experienced with concerts or other activities.
