Classes and Lessons
*Class for intermediate players, Amateur Intermediate Recorder Ensemble of Sarasota (AIRES) is from 10:30-12:00. Class for advanced players, Sarasota Early Music Consort(SEMC) is from 12:30-2:00pm. All classes are held on Tuesdays in the main hall of Crocker Memorial Church - 1260 12th St, Sarasota, FL 34236.
*If you are a beginner, we recommend some instruction with a teacher before joining a class. If you cannot find a local teacher, please consider the online classes that are offered by the American Recorder Society.
AIRES is a non-performing intermediate ensemble without audition. SEMC is a performing group by invitation only. Anyone interested in either group may contact Ruth Seib.
*The fee for each session is $10.00, payable on the first day of each month. The director for the 10:30 session for 2025-26 and the 12:30 session is Ruth Seib.
